Ragnarok Online Job Change Hunter Quest

Hunter Sherin

Go to the Hunter Guild in Hugel (which is situated north of the airship gangway). Talk with the guildmaster, Sherin, and apply to become a hunter.

Sherin tells you that candidates are required to pass three tests before they can become a hunter.

 The first test is a personality assessment. The following are the answers to the test:

1. Wander around alone and search for a place.
2. Walk with a friend.
3. Hunt at a nearby field.
4. Go back to town.
5. Would it be possible to get a heal, please?
6. Open a chat room and wait.
7. Tell the person about a good place to hunt.
8. Guide them to their destination.
9. Watch, then attack when asked for help.
10. Try to find the owner.

Talk with the Guild Receptionist, ‘Demon Hunter’, on the left, who tells you that the second test consists of gathering items to make arrows. Gather the items he requests, then talk with him again.

Talk with Sherin again, who instructs you to meet a guild member in Payon to take the final test.

Tip: Bring enough healing items to recover all your hp once for the final test.

Guild Member (Payon)

Go to the building in Payon situated to the east of the central castle (payon 185, 233). Enter the first room on your right, then talk with the guild member and ask to take the final test.

The guild member will give you 200 Silver Arrows and transfer you to a waiting room. Walk forward and the examiner will explain the test to you.

The test area is a maze populated with Poring, Zombies, Acher Skeleton and Mummies and scattered with puddles of water. You are required to complete three objectives in order within 3 minutes to pass the test:

1. Kill any 4 of the monsters labelled ‘Job Change Monster’.
2. Open the exit by activating a switch.
3. Exit the maze.

All of the monsters will die once the required number of target monsters have been killed.

The six target monsters are comprised of:

• 1 Poring, located in the north.
• 3 Zombies, located in the east, west, and center.
• 1 Archer Skeleton, located in the east.
• 1 Mummy, located in the south-west.

The switch is located at the center of the maze, and can be activated by clicking it. The exit is located in the north.

Tip: You can activate the switch from a distance; you don't need to stand next to it.

You will fail the test if any of the following happens:

• You kill any monster labelled anything other than ‘Job Change Monster’.
• You walk in any of the puddles of water.
• You fail to complete the objectives within the allocated time.
• You are killed.

When you are ready to begin the test, enter the receptionist's chat room and wait until you are transferred to the test area.

You are awarded a Necklace of Wisdom as proof of passing the final test.

Return to the Hunter Guild. Give the Necklace of Wisdom to Sherin and she will make you a hunter.

Tip: Before leaving Hugel, go south and kill enough monsters to learn Falcon Mastery, then rent a falcon from the Falcon Breeder on the second floor of the Hunter Guild.

Ragnarok Online Job Change Priest Quest

Father Thomas

prt_church (16, 41) 

Talk to him to signup to be a priest. He will tell how the quest is going to be and what is your first task.

If you are at job level 50, you can skip the first part of the test and he will warp you to Father Peter directly.

Otherwise, your first task is to pay a visit, in this order, to Father Rubalkabara, then Mother Marthilda, and lastly Father Yosuke. The locations of each of these NPCs are documented on the Acolyte Quest Guide page. See related quest section below.

After you have spoken to all 3 Clerics, go back to Father Thomas and he'll warp you to Father Peter to start the next part of the test.

Requirements: You must be an Acolyte at job level 40 or higher in order to start.

In the quest waiting room, enter the chat box on top of Father Peter's head to begin the test. Or click on him for the test instructions.

There are 3 parts to this test. In the first part, you have to kill all the zombies in the room. In the second part, you will be presented to a series of monster disguised NPCs (Dark Lord, Baphomet, etc), each will attempt to get you to the dark side. You have to resist the temptation, answer to their temptational deals with common sense as a servant of God (Just answer "Devil, Be Gone" for most part). If you accept their deals, you will be warped to some wild places and have to do the second test again. After the temptation test, you will be in a room filled with mummies. You are not required to kill any of them. Simply make it to the exit to pass the test.

Note: You have 5 minutes to pass all 3 rooms. You may bring a priest friend to help you with the zombie room and/or the mummy room test. Just have the priest talk to Father Thomas while the acolyte is inside taking the test. The priest must have a Rosary[0] in his inventory in order to enter the test room.

She will ask you a series of questions to determine if you are suitable to handle the job as a priest. Just answer the questions with common sense as a priest.

If you get any of the question wrong, she will stop you. You can talk to her to take the test again.

Once you passed this test, go talk to Father Thomas again, he will change you into a priest. Also, if you are at job level 50 when you started the priest quest, you will get a Bible[2] from him. Otherwise, he will give you a Book[3].

Ragnarok Online Job Change Crusader Quest

Prontera Castle north of the town where the Crusader guild is. You must be at least job level 40 in order to change into a Ragnarok Crusader. Inside the castle proceed north, turn left and head upstairs.

Talk to the Leader of Crusader named Michele Cantonyon (prt_castle 45, 169) to sign up for the job change quest. The first part of the Crusader Job Change Quest is to collect items. However, if you have Chivalry Emblem and Hand of God, you won’t need to do this. The three different set of items are:

Set 1:

• Decayed Nail x 10

• Worn-out Prison Uniform x 10
• Stinky Scale x 10

Set 2:

• Lantern x 10
• Horrendous Mouth x 10

After giving the items to the Michele, go back to near the entrance go downstairs to the right. Talk to the Suffering Man named Murnak Myjol. You need to equip a Rosary[0] in order to enter the test room.

In the test room, don’t kill or hit any monsters. Just use the Endure skill to get out. Talk to the Man in Anguish again after you exit the room, he’ll refer you to

4. Talk to Knight of Temple named Gabriel Valentine ( prt_church 95, 127) inside the Prontera Church near the altar. You need to answer 9 out of 10 questions in this part of the crusader job change quest. The three different set of questions are:

Go back to the Prontera Castle and talk to the Knight of Guardian named Briten Pyrod (prt_castle 35,151). You need to equipped a rosary and holy water in this part of the crusader job change quest.

You need to kill all the monsters in this room and there is no time limit. If you fail, talk to the Knight of Guardian again with the rosary and holy water.

After killing all the monsters, talk to the Knight of Guardian again and he’ll refer you back to the Leader of Crusader

This ends the job change quest. Michele will change you into a crusader. If your job level is 50, you’ll get 12 White Potions or Pike [4]. Otherwise, you get 6 White Potions or Pike [3]. It varies upon your server. Congratulations!

Ragnarok Online Job Change Wizard Quest

Located in the in the Geffen Tower. You must be at least job level 40 in order to change into a Wizard.



Go to the top most floor of the Geffen tower. Talk to Cartrin Medichi (gef_tower 111, 37) to sign up for the wizard job change quest. If your job level is 50, you can go to the next step, if not, she’ll ask you to collect some items for her first. The two item sets are:





Set 1:

• Blue Gemstone x 10
• Red Gemstone x 10
• Yellow Gemstone x 10

Set 2:

• Red Blood x 5
• Wind of Verdure x 5
• Crystal Blue x 5
• Green Live x 5

Talk to the Dismal Wizard named Raul Expagarus (gef_tower 102, 24). You need to get at least 9 out of 10 questions to pass this test. There are three possible set of questions:

The last part of the job quest is to test your ability in three different rooms filled with monsters.Talk to Raul again if you are ready to do this part. The equipments that you must or hopefully have are Clip Under a Cast (Phen Card) and Hard Armor (Pupa Card) to increase your max HP. If you don’t have these, you could do the hit then run, hit then run tactic. Also, if you have some spare zeny, buy yourself int and dex stat foods. You need to kill all the monsters first within 3 minutes before proceeding to the next room.


The first room is the Water Room so use wind spells, such as the lightning bolt. Bring a lot of hp/sp restorative items like the Royal Jelly and Mastela. Also, bring a Green Potion because you’ll be battling with Obeaune. My suggestion is to kill the Obeaune first because they are really pretty annoying. The monsters are:

The next room in the Wizard Job Change Quest is the Earth Room so use fire spells, such as the fire bolt. You don’t need to maximize the level of your fire bolt skill in killing the monsters. Estimate if the fire bolt level is enough to kill the monster.

After you passed the test, go back to Catherine and she’ll change you into a wizard. This ends your Wizard Job Change Quest. Congratulations
